With each new piece of her signature line of handmade ethical jewellery, Catherine Weitzman expresses the beauty of the natural world through art, design, and fashion. Her work evolves from a lifetime of extensive travel by land and sea.

During these travels Catherine started honing her design skills and had the good fortune to study hand in hand with traditional artisans from many of the exotic locales that for periods of time became home. In addition to apprenticing with metalsmiths at the Scuola Lorenzo di Medici in Florence, this group of mentors included the silversmiths of the Sahara, bamboo whittlers from Indonesia, and the creators of precious metal clay in tokyo.
